My pieces are hand-thrown from a smooth, white, low-fire earthenware. The surface is then layered with marbled color to create a visual depth and texture that is beautiful on its own or as a background for elaborate, hand-painted decoration.

My pottery is intended to be both decorative and functional so that with careful handling it may be used and displayed for many years. - Sandra West
